PROJECT INFORMATION: The County of Stearns is seeking quotes for the disconnection from existing ductwork, removal, and disposal of the existing (2) air handlers, installation of 2 new air handlers and connections to existing ductwork.  The air handlers are on a mezzanine level of the facility accessible via stairs or a 6’ wide forklift or crane-accessible service door.   The County will provide the new air handling units, associated controls, valves, dampers ext. 

There is an ADD alternate bid request to provide labor rates and materials to install gas service and ductwork for (2) new boilers, 1 water heater, and (5) gas unit heaters.   

Work is tentatively scheduled for May of 2024, depending on equipment availability.

The Vendor will be responsible for all materials, necessary labor, and equipment to perform this service.  

COMPLETION TIME: July 15, 2024

PRE-BID MEETING: The County will conduct a pre-bid meeting with interested vendors at 9:00 AM, CT, Thursday, April 25, 2024, in the entry area of the Stearns County Public Works (Highway Department), 455 28th Avenue South, Waite Park, MN 56387. The purpose will be to view the location of the work and to answer questions about any aspects of the RFQ or of the project in general. Although attendance is not mandatory, it is highly recommended.
